Tofte-based photographer Chuck Olsen will share photographs and videos from his AARC-funded project, "Seasonal Photography in Superior National Forest" in this livestream exhibition. Olsen photographed the same 3 locations in Superior National Forest from April, 2023 to November, 2023 to document the seasonal changes in flora, fauna, trees, water and sky. Location 1 is a scenic marsh near the Sawbill Trail; location 2 is a recently-forested area; and location 3 is part of the Temperance River headwaters. Olsen captured each location with a macro lens, a wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens for a variety of perspectives, culled to 24 final photographs depicting these landscapes from the end of one winter to the beginning of the next.
