Arrowhead Regional Arts Council Confirms Grant Programming Secure.

The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (ARAC) is grateful to be able to reassure constituents that there will be no changes to ARAC’s current and ongoing programming. ARAC is a private nonprofit entity whose main source of funding is derived from appropriations from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s General Fund and Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund, along with private funding from The McKnight Foundation. All past, current, and future funded grant projects will continue to move forward.

ARAC also assures their constituents that their ongoing DEI work and Artist Equity grant program will continue to be a major focus of our programming and internal work. Now more than ever, the arts are essential to connect and celebrate our diverse community within the Arrowhead Region.

ARAC is proud to support artistic works within the Arrowhead Region to ensure the arts continue to flourish, so our community can thrive. ARAC’s Art Project Grant programs will become available Monday, February 3, 2025 and is open for art project proposals through March 16, 2025. The grant program offers up to $4,000 for individual artists and up to $5,000 for organizations presenting artistic works for projects starting after June 1, 2025.  For more information on funding, grant programs, and artist resources, visit aracouncil.org.
